Lambda Lambda Lambda
Our next area of investigation is the "Sacred Geometry" of ancient Greece, the foundation of Western Culture.
In my ignorance, what I thought I had discovered, 1 had only rediscovered. The Greek term for the "ontological root" is the "Lambda," the letter L, the first letter of the "Law." The Lambda is 90 degrees out from ours, it is the same "inverted V: that I had been using to diagram the inverse analogs! According to Plato, the Lambda was a schematic of the "World Soul," as well as the generator of Geometry and Arithmetic. He also said that the laws (Essential Knowledge) which govern the creation of things (Lambdas, Gnomens, and Ratios) are the same laws as those which allow for their comprehension, (Particular Knowledge).
The Lambda also generates the the three medians, Geometric, Arithmetic, and Harmonic. Geometry provides spatial order, Arithmetic provides quantitative order, and the interrelation of the geometric and arithmetic progressions gives us the Harmonic order of Music and Proportion; and when we harmonize or balance this dual input in our own minds - Synthesis.
This is a Pluralistic Universe, the Existential World: scientific objective and factual, and the Unitarian World; intuitional, subjective and mythic.
The Greeks ( and their forebearers) taught that the underlying principle of the geometric world of One, was Phi (the Golden Ratio) and that the underlying principle of the phenomenal world was the square root of Two and that they were united in the circular or spherical world of Pi.
So just like One and Two generate all the numbers, the Lambdas of One and Two generate the macro-cosmic and microcosmic worlds through number and form (Inverse Analogs).
